A clean face tans best. You may want to remove your contact lenses.

Set the radio before getting into the tanning bed.

Please remove all jewelry or anything that may scratch the acrylic on the beds.

Disrobe. You may tan in swimwear, underwear, or as you choose.

Apply your favorite indoor tanning lotion. Baby oil and any other outdoor products are prohibited!!  These products ruin our acrylics.  Please ask our staff for assistance in choosing the right product for your skin type and tan progression.

Activate your bed by pressing the start button by the bed. Please enter the bed as soon as possible.

While tanning you simply lay back, relax and listen to the music or sleep. Your bed will automatically turn off at the proper time.

Apply your favorite after tan moisturizer.

A towel is provided to dry yourself off and the excess perspiration on the bed. We  sanitize the room after each session.

After tanning please dress immediately as someone may be waiting for the room. Make sure to take all personal items with you. You may freshen up and re-apply makeup at our vanity.

UV light whether from natural sunlight or from a tanning bed, comes into contact with the skin.

UV light penetrates down through several layers of the skin.

As UV light penetrates the skin, it comes into contact with, and stimulates Melanocyte cells.

Melanocyte cells, when stimulated by UV light, draw in surrounding amino acids (tyrosine), minerals (copper), vitamins, and micro-nutrients.

These elements are combined together within the Melanocyte cell and converted into melanin, your skin pigment.

The Melanocyte cell then releases the newly created melanin granules that rise to the surface of the skin.

Near the surface of the skin, melanin is exposed to oxygen (oxidation begins).

The oxidation process transforms the melanin granules from their natural pinkish color into a rich, golden brown.

The oxidized melanin is your tan.
